Who I Am

About Me

I'm Althea Kim Peria, most people call me Tey.

I'm a BSIT student at City College of Calamba and a full-stack developer who builds with AI at the center of everything. I work with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js, and I use AI-assisted development tools like AWS Kiro, Claude, and Groq API daily, not just as shortcuts, but as core parts of how I architect and ship products.

I was selected by Amazon Web Services to lead the Aeris student builder group, one of the official AWS-recognized student communities in the Philippines. I oversee community learning activities, facilitate hands-on workshops using AWS tools, and represent Aeris at AWS events including in-person sessions at AWS Office BGC and eCloudValley PH.

Before that, I served as Secretary of the Information Technology Society at City College of Calamba, managing communications for 6,300+ followers and members, coordinating hackathons, and planning institutional events from general assemblies to tech talks. I also served as President of the Supreme Student Council at Westbridge Institute of Technology, where I led 18 officers, organized 18 school-wide events, and represented 500 to 1,000 students to the administration.

I competed in the APAC Stellar Hackathon building a blockchain-based savings platform, and I'm constantly shipping, from AI-powered learning systems to full-stack task managers.

When I'm not coding, I'm probably planning the next community event, experimenting with a new AI API, or figuring out how to make technology more accessible for small businesses.

What Drives Me

I believe technology should be accessible to everyone, not just big companies with big budgets. That's why I build real, deployed products for real communities, and why I started Arctey Builds to bring AI-powered web development to small businesses.
